After tough matches against Meldrum House, Turriff and Peterhead, Kemnay ladies once again made it to the final of the Robertson Cup. We were up against Duff House Royal in the final with our opponents having home advantage. It couldn’t have been closer on the day with the matches finishing 4-4 with many going down the 18th. Fiona Pennie put herself forward for the play off and beat Louise Anderson on the 1st playoff hole with a par to win the trophy. Well done to the team on the day; Karen Scott, Yvonne Moir, Carol Whicher, Anne Cheyne, Lynne Tough, Hannah Bycroft, Kirsty Craig and Fiona Pennie. Thanks also to those who caddied and supported on the day, to those who have played in the matches this year and to those who helped with team selections. This was a team effort with everyone playing their part in bringing the trophy back to Kemnay once again!
